Lend a hand at the MAH and plug into a creative community of people like you.

Volunteers at the MAH are on the frontlines of events, exhibitions, and unforgettable experiences for our community. When you’re volunteering here, you directly help to build a stronger, more connected Santa Cruz County– whether you’re welcoming visitors into a gallery, facilitating hands-on activities, helping to set up a festival, restoring a historic cemetery, or working on a project with staff.

This is crucial to forging connections […]

What is a Community Builder? Community Builders are like tour guides, but so much more. You’ll empower youth with immersive explorations throughout our entire museum, integrating both […]

Get people acquainted with the MAH’s local art and history. You’ll hang out with folks in the galleries and orient visitors to the museum by sharing info. Encourage people to look AND touch the interactive parts of exhibitions. You: outgoing, friendly, passionate talking about local art and history and being on your feet for 2 or […]

But with some serious volunteer-powered digging, planting, and beautifying, Evergreen is seeing its best days as a historic landmark as a resting place for Santa Cruz’ culture-shaping men and women. Help with restoration efforts or with research projects and genealogical inquiries. You: are comfy […]
