Evergreen Historical Cemetery

A California point of interest, Evergreen is a Gold Rush era cemetery established in 1850 as one of the first public cemeteries in the state. There are many local community volunteers involved in projects to restore the cemetery and conduct research on its history. You can learn more about these efforts, community programs, and tours at Evergreen here.

Davenport Jail Museum

Davenport Jail Museum

This 1914 one-room county jail was used only twice. Set in the old whaling village of Davenport, it is a small reminder of rowdier times. The location is between Ocean Street and Davenport Avenue on Cabrillo Highway. It is typically open from 11AM- 4PM on the 2nd Sunday of every month beginning in the spring until fall. Call 831-429-1964 for information.
