Celebrate Earth Day by recycling, painting, and enjoying the sunshine. Co-created with the Watsonville youth food justice organization, Growing Justice.

Paint and decorate recycled planters to add to your garden. Add to a collaborative community mural. Share what Earth day means to you and your family.

Then stop by Growing Justice's pop-up exhibition “Wisdoms of the Ancestral Kitchen" inside the museum. Explore two years of transcribed community narratives (testimonios) from farmworkers, community gardeners, youth, mothers, and family members in Watsonville. Reflect and find solutions to the challenges our community faces every day around food insecurity.
