Looking for Rewarding Work in Santa Cruz County?

Join a one-stop enrollment event to become a paid In-Home Support Service (IHSS) Companion through the County of Santa Cruz County Human Services Department.

Get straight to what matters most and complete all the enrollment requirements in one easy afternoon at the MAH.

What is the IHSS?

The In-Home Supportive Services Program enables elderly and disabled Santa Cruz residents to remain safely in their homes when they are not able to fully care for themselves or handle routine household tasks.

Supported by the California Department of Social Services the IHSS provides in-home assistance to eligible aged, blind and disabled individuals as an alternative to out-of-home care.

Over 506,000 IHSS providers currently serve over 593,000 recipients.
