Fostering Resilience: What it Took, What it Takes, and Where it Has Taken You

Save to:

Join California Youth Connection and the MAH to discuss how foster youth not only survive, but thrive, contribute and make a difference. This event includes panel discussions from current, former, and older generations of foster youth, an art activism workshop, and youth-led performances.

The Art as Activism Workshop is meant to provide participants with tools to make art connected to social movements. We will briefly explore different types of art that have been used for activism and their impact on social movements. Participants will learn how to make art accessible for communal empowerment as they work on both individual pieces and a communal piece.

Panels, Activities and Performances Featuring:

Former foster youth ages 30+
CYC Executive Director Haydée Cuza
