Rate: $42,000 to $48,000 Annually

Become the frontlines of all partner connection.

In this job, you’ll invite community members to go deeper at the MAH through partnerships. Partners at the MAH are: members, donors, collaborators, and volunteers. Come work with a collaborative, results-oriented, fun team dedicated to fueling the MAH with the people and financial resources necessary to build a stronger, more connected community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Put partners first. You are the voice to our partners and reflect what they value back to the community. You are a cheerleader for our diverse community in everything you do.
  • Design and deliver excellent partner journeys. Design experiential journeys for all partner groups. Identify improvements to journeys and implement them.
  • Generate, capture, and convert leads for future MAH partnerships. Generate interest from museum guests and the broader community to partner with the MAH. Invite interested people and organizations to do more, give more, or tell others about the MAH.
  • Grow our world-class membership program. Create such an amazing experience for members that they can’t imagine life without the MAH. That means communicating with, planning events for, servicing, soliciting, and renewing our 2,000 (and growing) members.
  • Lead communication with partners. Design invitations and correspondence that adds value to the partner experience.
  • Lead the volunteer program. Recruit new volunteers and design a volunteer experience that keeps them coming back for more meaningful, valuable opportunities at the MAH.
  • Collaborate with staff to strengthen our partnerships. Provide the tools, communication and data to support staff in growing and maintaining partnerships across the MAH.

Here’s how you can be excellent at this job:

  • Build Relationships. Cultivate strong relationships across all of our partners. Listen to their needs, know their name, and communicate their value to the MAH.
  • Write superbly. You prove that you can adapt your writing to the MAH’s existing voice guide and write well enough to define the MAH’s public voice for years to come.
  • Be organized and communicate. You meet deadlines, stick to plans, and love checklists. When you can’t complete something by the requested time, you proactively communicate that to stakeholders.
  • Measure, measure, measure. You measure everything you do and define success with measurable results. You are able to define meaningful metrics for the organization and you hold yourself and your team accountable to hitting those goals. You are skilled with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or other marketing automation tools.

  • Speak Spanish.
  • Have previously worked in sales, fundraising, or marketing.
  • Play well with teams in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Are driven to adapt and continually learn and are unafraid of failure.
  • Have a personal understanding of what it feels like to be excluded, ignored, or just passed over by the arts or museums. We are looking for someone who can help connect new people to the museum, not just preach to the choir.
