November Event Round-Up

Can you believe it’s November? We hardly can. It often feels like time speeds up this time of year as the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins. With the weather getting chilly and the time change next week shortening the days, hibernation is looking pretty appealing. But we’ve gathered up this list of reasons to get together, get outside, and get into the festive spirit.

Día de Muertos

Saturday, November 2 at the MAH and Evergreen Cemetery, 12:30pm-6pm

Honor your ancestors at the vibrant annual Mexican celebration Día de Muertos co-created with Senderos. Get your face painted and make tissue paper flowers at the MAH before joining a community procession through the streets to Evergreen Cemetery. Music, food, dance, and altar-making make this family-friendly event a beautiful time to connect with community, both living and dead.
